You got to be careful what you say. The tongue is a very important part of the body. We can use it to inspire people or tear them down.

The bible clearly states in Proverbs 18:21 “The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences”.

We must be extremely careful what we say about ourselves, family, friends, acquaintances, etc. All of our words good or bad are seeds and once spoken into the atmosphere they cannot be taken back.

I like the popular phrase that says “if you don’t have anything good to say—don’t say anything at all”.

The book of proverbs also states that “those that control their tongue will have a long life, opening your mouth can ruin everything.” Some people don’t realize it—but their mouth is their ruin.

People who talk too much have ruined relationships, churches, organizations, etc. If more people started thinking before they talked the world would be a better place. Always remember you shall have whatsoever you say, so be careful what you say.

So… this post just echoed a conversation I had this morning. I’ve been thinking on this a lot lately. The fact that our words WILL create, shape and form things. And not just things, but people also. There’s no question that if you keep saying it, you will see it -good or bad. Word curses are real. We really must think before we speak. Great post!
